About Dianah Davidson, BS, RDH, COM®
Dianah graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas Dental School with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.
Dianah practiced in oral surgery, periodontal, general dentistry for many years.
Dianah served as an active Member of the IAOM Mentoring Committee from 2008-2014. She co-chaired the IAOM Annual Convention in 2011. In 2012, she was appointed Chair of the IAOM Nonprofit Governance Board. Dianah was awarded the IAOM Connie Painter Award for Distinguished Service in 2014 related to her efforts to address the legal standing of the organization as Nonprofit Governance Chair. She is also an active member of the ALF InterFACE Academy where she has presented on the important role orofacial myology treatment plays in functional orthodontic intervention.
Dianah has exclusively practiced orofacial myology since 2008. She was awarded IAOM Certification in Orofacial Myology in 2009. In 2013, she became an IAOM approved Introductory Instructor and continues in this effort today across the USA, Canada and Australia. She continues with patient care with orofacial myofunctional disorders, parafunctional habits and muscular TMJ disorders.

About Angie Lehman, RDH, COM®
Angie Lehman, RDH, COM, has been certified by the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) and practicing orofacial myology exclusively since 2012. She currently serves as the Secretary for the IAOM. Angie is owner of Oral Myofunctional Therapy of York, a private practice in York, Pennsylvania, that provides myofunctional therapy to children and adults. She also provides continuing education for dental and medical professionals, teaching about Orofacial Myology, advanced therapy techniques and marketing. Her passion is to see all dental and medical professionals work collaboratively to better understand oral function and craniofacial development.

About Patricia K. Fisher, MA, CCC-SLP, COM®
Patricia K. Fisher, M.A. CCC/SLP-COM©, works with Speech & Language Associates of Dayton. She is parliamentarian for the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). Fisher is certified in Orofacial Myology and Lidcombe (Australian program for stuttering). Fisher was on ASHA’s Sig for Voice. She served as adjunct faculty at Miami University of Ohio and for the College of St. Rose in New York. Fisher is a “Fellow” and has received “Honors of the Association” for Ohio. She was the Director of Public Information and chaired the Consumer Affairs, Insurance Initiative, and Student Scholarship committees. Fisher completed a research project with the Max Planck Institute in Germany.

About Roy Huggins, LPC, NCC
Roy is a counselor in private practice who also directs Person-Centered Tech, a company that grow clinicians’ understanding of the Internet and other electronic communications mediums for the future of our practices and our professions.
Roy is an adjunct instructor at the Portland State University Counseling program where he teaches Ethics. He has acted as a subject matter expert on HIPAA, security, and clinical use of technology for Counseling licensure boards and both state and national mental health professional organizations. He has co-authored or authored 2 book chapters on that topic.

About Dr. Shikha Rathi
Dr. Shikha Rathi graduated in 2004 with a dental degree from D.Y. Patil University in Mumbai, India subsequent to which she received a certification and a master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2011 from the University of Texas in San Antonio. Dr. Rathi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and currently maintains her private practice at DDI in Roseville, California. She is an assistant professor in the department of Orthodontics at the University of Pacific, San Francisco. She is a co-author on “Specialty Imaging: Dental Implants”, and a contributing author of “Horizontal Alveolar Ridge Augmentation in Implant Dentistry” and “Specialty Imaging: TMJ”. She is also a recognized reviewer of the journal of Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, Oral Radiology (OOOO). Dr. Rathi has delivered several presentations nationally and internationally on 3D imaging and its applications in the various fields of dentistry.

TMJ Pain Management: The Myofunctional Therapists’ Role

About Patricia Brinkman-Falter, BSDH, RDH, MS, C-GIS, COM®
Pat Brinkman-Falter, BSDH, RDH, MS, C-GIS, COM® is a Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM®) in private practice in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska. Pat received her dental hygiene training at the University of Nebraska college of dentistry, her master’s from the University of Nebraska, and her certificate in Gerontology and interdisciplinary studies from Colorado State University. She is a Board of Examiner with the IAOM and teaches at Spear Dental Education at the TMD2 course and also to the dental hygiene students at UNMC. She belongs to and is also a speaker for the Acorn Study group that focuses on TMD. She has over 35 years practice as a dental hygienist and over 12 years as a myofunctional therapist. She was named ADHA’s Irene Newman Award winner for advancing the field of dental hygiene in 2015 for winning board approval to practice myofunctional therapy in Nebraska and has since helped other hygienists in surrounding states accomplish the same.
Pat became interested in myofunctional therapy because of her temporal mandibular pain and found relief in three days at her first course by modifying her parafunctional habits. She has undergone arthrocentesis and bimaxillary surgery to correct her TMD and maxillary and mandibular deficiencies and presented a poster on this in 2019 at IAOM Annual Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her article “Myofunctional Therapy; Enhancing your Dental Hygiene Career” (the magazine editors may change the name) will appear in Access magazine in April 2020.

About Lisa Williams, MSSA, ACC
Lisa Williams is an Intuitive Leadership Coach + Consultant, facilitator, and speaker who helps individuals lead from within by leveraging their unique superpower- their intuition. She is the founder of Lisa Williams Coaching + Consulting and the co-founder of the High Impact Leadership Project.
